        On November 18, Ling Ji, Vice Minister of Commerce and Deputy China International Trade Representative, joined the first four-party Ministers' meeting for China's accession to DEPA, held on the sideline of the APEC Ministerial Meeting in Bangkok, Thailand. Also joining are Jose Miguel Ahumada, the Under-secretary for International Economic Relations of Chile, Vangelis Vitalis, Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of New Zealand, and Jane Lim, Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Trade and Industry of Singapore.
